Dyspepsia Causes - How is it spread?Ayurvedic Name: Agnimandya Alternative Name: Indigestion What are the causes of the dyspepsia?Dyspepsia may be caused by many conditions such as stomach ulcers. Symptoms similar to dyspepsia can be due to conditions ranging from mild and self-limiting to serious. It is often aggravated by high acidity in the stomach. It may also be caused as a side-effect of some drugs used for treating other illnesses. Sometimes, in some specific cases actual cause cannot be determined. In dyspepsia, excessive Vata may cause pain in the stomach and excess of Kapha may cause Nausea and Vomiting. There is also loss of appetite in some cases of dyspepsia. Helicobacter pylori is a bacteria, which lives in the mucus layer of the stomach and may cause irritation. Other main causes of dyspepsia are overeating, bad food habits, eating too rapidly and neglecting proper mastication and salivation of food. Overeating, makes the work of the stomach, lever, kidneys and bowels harder and ultimately leads to dyspepsia. Patients with dyspepsia can be divided into two major groups.
