Herbal and Ayurvedic Remedies for the treatment of DyspepsiaAyurvedic Name: Agnimandya. Alternative Name: Indigestion. If you are suffering from dyspepsia, then following treatment may give you relief: Saunph - Another herb useful for the treatment of dyspepsia is saunph. This herb may be given in small quantities daily to young children and it will help them in digesting carbohydrates. It must be taken after every meal - as it will help to prevent foul breath, indigestion & vomiting. Ajirnadi Rasa and Shatapatriyadi Chuna - 3/4 gm of Ajirnadi Rasa and 2 gm of Shatapatriyadi Chuna maybe taken with luke warm water, two times in a daily. Anantamul - Anantamul is a very beneficial herb for the treatment of dyspepsia. It is given in powdered form in doses of 1 to 6 gms with milk daily. Draksharishta - 20 ml of draksharishta may be taken two times daily with water after the main meals. Haritaki Churna, Raisins, Sugar - Mixture of 3 gms each of Haritaki Chuna and raisins and 6 gm of sugar may be taken daily at night with water. Kutki - Kutki strengthens the stomach and promotes its action, while improving appetite and stimulating the secretion of gastric juice. Lashunadi Vati, Samudradi Churna, Sarjikasarva - Mixture of 1 gm each of Lashunadi Vati, Samudradi Chuma and Sarjikasatva may be taken two times daily with warm water after the main meals. Narayan Churna, Agnimukha Lavana - Mixture of 1 gm each of Narayan Churna and Agnimukha Lavana may be taken 3 times daily with lukewarm water.
